A. Lange & Söhne Cabaret Platinum 107.035

We’re a sucker for rectangular watches here at Watch Vault, and we’re privileged to present this Unicorn from the masters of German watchmaking, A. Lange & Söhne. The Cabaret has been around since 1997, and is a striking take on a familiar shape with heavy Art Deco influence. The case of this particular piece is formed in platinum measuring 42mm lug-to-lug and 25.5mm across, and is slightly curved to conform to the wrist. It features a lovely double-step from the sapphire to bezel to mid-case, with polished and brushed  finishing.

The folks at Lange don’t do things by halves, and created a movement specifically for this watch. The manual wind L931.3 is perfectly formed to the case shape, unlike lesser pieces which utilise round movements in rectangular cases. It’s built on the classic Glashutte ¾ plate design, with typically stunning finishing and that wonderful signature swan neck regulator. Just spectacular.

This particular piece presents in TZ Excellent condition. The case shows light wear from careful use. Nothing deep, and no dings or dents. Please see images for full condition details.
