If you're not familiar with ochs und junior, they operate on an ethos of radical simplicity, creating amazing complications with as few moving parts as possible. Backed by the amazing brain that is Ludwig Oechslin, they're simply some of the coolest watches in the world. They're also easy to service, comfortable, and extremely limited in production, with around 10 of these 'date' watches produced each year. You won't see one down at your local watch meet.

As it's name suggests, the 'Date' is their simplest watch showing just the hours, minutes, seconds and date. This particular example sports a deep blue-black dial, orange date marker, and white luminous hands, housed in a 39mm titanium case machined by the same company which produces the Titanium components for the Sauber F1 team, and powered by a modified ETA 2824 meaning easy servicing and reliability.

Condition is excellent. There's a few light marks on the case, and some scratches form strap changes on the rear of the lugs but looks to have been worn fairly carefully. See images for full details.

Currently keeping time at +1 seconds per day at 274 degrees of amplitude as tested on our timegrapher.

For those familiar with ochs und junior, you'll know that then aren't accompanied with large boxes or cases in the pursuit of simplification, and ship attached to cardboard or in a travel case. Because of this the year of manufacture is unknown, but looks to be fairly recent.

Given they make so few, I'm sure an email to ochs could date the watch if you desired.
