Omega Seamaster ‘Jedi’ 176.005
Sometimes referred to as the ‘Jedi’, rightly or wrongly, the 176.006 is an amazing example of 70’s design from the masters at Omega. The TV shaped case measures 42mm, and is constructed of stainless steel with lovely sunray finishing. Condition is wonderful for its age, and if it’s been polished it has been done very sympathetically.
The dial is a beautiful brushed silver, with striking light blue accents on the sub seconds, 12 hour counter and central minute counter. The dial is in magnificent condition. Lume plots show some degradation but are all in place.
It’s powered by a variation on the Lemania 1340, and was the first Seamaster to feature this movement. Service history is unknown, but currently running at -13 seconds per day at 250 degrees of amplitude. Chrono operating as it should, and date changes over at midnight.
Comes equipped on the a full length bracelet with stretch expected of it’s age. Currently sized for a 7.5 inch wrist with another inch or so of adjustment.
Comes as watch only.
