Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight PAM00251 J serial.

One of the absolutely iconic Luminor's from Panerai, the Daylight model was born from Panerai's starring role on Sylvester Stallone's wrist in the movie Daylight. The story goes that while on set filming the movie Sly came across a Panerai Boutique, a brand that had only been available to the public for a few years prior, and fell in love with the pieces. He bought one, and wore it in the movie. Later he commissioned a run of Slytech Luminor's and gave them out to his friends, friends like Arnold Schwarzenegger, who then went on to wear them in movies too. This began the rise of Panerai into the watch worlds 'must-have' pieces, a trend which lasted a solid 10 years. Later, Panerai then released the Daylight models as a tribute to these original Slytech watches.

This particular version of the Daylight is known as the PAM00251. It features the classic 44mm stainless steel Luminor case, stunning white dial with cream indices, OPX II movement with three register chrono, date and 100m water resistance.

This example was sold locally in 2007 and presents in excellent condition. There's a few light marks around the case and bezel, and two tiny nicks on the upper right lug. Please see images for full condition details.

No service history. All functions operate as they should. Chrono resets to 0. Currently running beautifully at +3 seconds per day at 291 degrees of amplitude.
