Stunning Rolex Submariner Bluesy 16803 up for grabs.
With the honour of being the first two tone Submariner produced, the 16803 was produced from around 1984 through 1988 and is considered a transitional model and was the first generation of Subs to feature a sapphire crystal. It features a 40mm yellow gold and steel case, 300m water resistance, and 3035 automatic movement.
This particular example hails from 1987 and presents in excellent vintage condition. Case is extremely thick and sharp. Clear numbers between the lugs.
Original dial is starting to develop a beautiful patina and appears to have a tinge of grey in certain lights. Hands are original and show some degradation. Correct open 6 and 9 date-wheel.
Bracelet is a 93153 with 483 endlinks. Will fit up to a 7.4in wrist.
Recently serviced, it is currently running at +-0 secs per day at 274 degrees of amplitude.
Comes with Rolex box.
