Breitling Montbrillant Navitimer A41370

The Navitimer is Breitling's best known series, and a personal favourite here at Watch Vault. It is classic Breitling, and a design that has endured the test of time and still finds itself at the top of the pile in the Aeronautical derived watches.

The version we have here is the Montbrillant which was named after the street which housed the Bretiling workshop for over 80 years. It features a 38mm steel case, black dial with the usual chronograph registers in addition to a 1/100th of a second counter in the centre, beautiful copper coloured hands, and powered by the Breitling Calibre 41 Automatic movement, which is based on an ETA 2892-A2.

This particular example was originally sold locally here in Oz and presents in TZ Excellent condition. The highly polished case and bracelet shows some signs of regular use in the form of scuffs and swirlies, but no dings, dents or large scrapes are present. The service history is unknown. It is winding very smoothly, and keeping time approximately -17 seconds per day at 290 degrees of amplitude. Chrono starts, stops and resets as it should.

Currently mounted on the factory bracelet with 8 links, and includes 3 spare links.
