Grand Seiko SBGA371 "Pink Champagne" AJHH Special Limited Edition

Limited to only 500 units and sold only in Japan, this watch was designed by famous Japanese record producer Mr Yasushi Akimoto for the AJHH, also known as the Japanese Association of Haute Horlogerie. The red 9 signifies the life of the 'salary man' in Japan, who traditionally starts work at 9am, and finishes at 9pm where they then go drinking with the boss to carry favour. Mr Akimoto gave it prominence on the dial as it signifies the hours in which memories are made.

Regardless of the cool backstory, the watch itself stands out as very special due to the limited run nature, and that gorgeous pink champagne dial which shifts between a deep pink, to a bronzish pink and then an almost salmon colour depending on the light. Couple that dial with a 39mm case size, power it with a Spring Drive movement, and you've got a technically interesting, rare and beautiful watch.

The piece we have here presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows some small scratches and scuffs, and a few light dings. The bezel has a scrape between 4 and 5, and there's some small dings and nicks. Please see images for full condition details.

Bracelet will fit an approximately 7.25in wrist. No extra links available, but these can be purchased through a Seiko AD or Boutique.
