Grand Seiko Anniversary GMT LE SBGN009

Released as part of the Heritage Collection celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Seiko Astron, the world's first watch to feature a quartz movement, the SBGN009 is headlined by it's absolutely stunning deep blue dial with subtle prong-shaped pattern that changes from almost imperceptible in darker environments to quite pronounced under direct sunlight. You really need to see it in person to believe the depth of colour and quality of the dial - amazing.

Along with being gorgeous to look at, it also features on of the most accurate movements you'll find in a wristwatch anywhere, the 9F86 - regulated to be accurate to within 10 seconds a year (!). It also features true GMT functionality, making for a hyper-accurate, extremely wearable and absolutely stunning daily wearing travel watch.

As with all Grand Seiko's, all finishing is of the highest order. The Zaratsu polishing is truly something to behold.

Limited to 2,019 pieces worldwide, these are exceedingly rare so don't miss your chance to get your hands on this lightly used full set.

This particular example was sold locally and presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows some hairlines/hazing on the polished sections, and the bezel shows some light scratches and couple of very small nicks on the outer edge. Brushed sections are very clean, with only a couple of very small marks. Rear of the lugs show some scratches from strap changes. Bracelet shows some desk diving marks.
