Heuer Incabloc 97517 Vintage Chronograph

This stunning example of the French-made 97517 Heuer Chronograph encapsulates everything we love about vintage Heuer's form the 70's. The gorgeous and extremely sharp steel Tonneau shaped case measures in at 38mm, and couldn't be more period specific if it tried. It's in amazing condition with only light signs of wear.

The dial is a beautiful smoked tobacco, with running seconds on the left and 30 minute chronograph at the top. The right register is not a chronrograph register at all, but a stylised window for the date which looks phenomenal. Dial is all original, and shows barely any signs of wear. There's a small piece of dust that's sitting around the date window (as we write this), so not a scratch as it may appear in photos.

It's currently mounted on a beautiful Hodinkee leather strap which suits it to a tee.

It's powered by a Valjoux 7765 movement which was apparently service din 2017. The strength of the amplitude at 300 degrees would back this up. It's running at around -25 seconds per day, so could do with a regulation. Chrono stop, starts and resets. Reset sits slightly off from 12.
