Nomos Orion 1989 ref. 385

We absolutely adore Nomos here at Watch Vault, and they’re regularly our go-to recommendation for watches under 5k. They featuring fantastic finishing for the money, in-house movements, wonderful proportions and stunning Bauhaus designs that are unlikely to be confused with any other brand on the market.

This particular piece is the Orion 1989, and was released by Nomos to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. It features a larger 38mm steel case with November Grey dial,  stamped gold indices, and is powered by the in-house manual wind Alpha movement visible through the sapphire case back.

This particular piece presents in TZ Good condition. Has clearly been worn regularly, and the case, case back and bezel show some scratching, and a few small nicks. All could be easily sorted with a polish, but we’ll leave that to the buyer to decide. See images for full condition details.

This is a lovely example of a daily-wearer, and you really won’t find more watch for the money in our opinion.
