Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Co-axial 42mm Liquid Metal 222.30.42.20.01.001

This is it! The OG Liquid Metal, and perhaps the most desirable of the Planet Ocean series to date.

Produced in a numbered edition of 1948 pieces in 2010, the 222.30.42.20.01.001 is the only Planet Ocean released with a combination of Cal.2500 Co-Ax movement, Liquid Metal bezel and ceramic dial. The use of the 2500 movement allowed it to remain thinner than the current generation of PO's with the 8500 movement.

Featuring a perfectly sized 42mm steel case made of steel, it houses the aforementioned ceramic dial which is just phenomenal in person, ranging from a very deep black to almost grey metallic-like sheen depending on the angle the sun hits it. It’s topped with a Liquid Metal and ceramic bezel insert, and is powered by the technically brilliant and easily serviced Co-Axial 2500 movement.

This particular piece was sold in 2010 and presents in TZ Excellent condition, with the case shows only the smallest hints of use in the form of a few very small marks on the sides of the case, and some strap change marks on the rear of the lugs. See images for full condition details.

Bracelet and clasp are in excellent condition with only light desk diving marks. Currently sized for a roughly 7.5in wrist, with an extra half link included.

No service history that we're aware of. Running beautifully, and keeping time at +7 secs per day at over 300 degrees of amplitude.
