Rolex GMT-Master II Coke 16710 Y-Serial – 2002

These Rolex GMT's needs very little introduction. The 16710 was the last of the pre-ceramic GMT's, and strike a perfect balance between classical proportions and modern reliability. Rolex are yet to better these as far as I'm concerned.

This particular example dates from 2002 and presents in TZ excellent condition. Case is extremely thick, with sharp edges and very even lugs. Shows light marks from careful use, and some small marks on the lugs from strap changes.

Glass dial is in amazing condition showing little is any wear, with matching factory hands.

Coke bezel shows light fade on the red portion and some scratching, and is in excellent condition. See images for full condition details.

Bracelet is a 78790A with solid endlinks. Bracelet has 10 links with matching 2002 date code on the clasp.

Unknown service history, but winds smoothly and dates changes over at midnight as it should. Keeping COSC timing at 297 degrees of amplitude.

This is a truly spectacular example of a highly desirable and appreciating watch.
