Zenith Defy White Ceramic Skeleton 41mm 49.9002.670/01.R792 – 2019

This watch is absolutely badass! On paper a watch in this spec doesn’t appeal to us, but that’s why you shouldn’t judge a watch based on paper. It’s simply one of the coolest pieces we’ve handled in the last 12 months, and has shot straight to the top of our list of Zenith’s most desirable pieces.

There isn’t just one star of the show with this piece, and it’s great success is the blending of a bunch of aesthetically distinctive components and somehow making them all work in harmony. Throw in a great deal of technical prowess, and good old watch making chops and you’ve got a true standout piece and something a little different from the rest of the pack which Zenith needs to be applauded for.

The case measures in at 41mm and is made of white ceramic. Housed within this superbly proportioned case is a silver open worked dial that gives just the right amount of contrast to the sea of white and has one of our favourite integrations of a date window we’ve seen for a while. It’s powered by the in-house Elite movement with one of the coolest rotors in the biz to go along with it’s silicone escape wheel, and it’s mounted on an extremely comfortable white rubber integrated strap.

This particular piece was originally purchased locally in October 2019 and presents in TZ Excellent condition. The only signs of wear are a couple of scratches on the back of the case, and some rub marks on the ceramic. See images for full condition details.
