You can't help but love this thing, even if you're a die-hard mechanical watch lover. A complex little beasty, Bulova probably explains how it works best:

Accutron's Proprietary Electrostatic Movement. 
The electrostatic energy is created by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; a world’s first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands.

Power saving function: To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o'clock after 5 minutes of non-activity. Your timepiece continues to keep time, the hour hand and the minute hand keep moving. When you would like to see the second hand's motion, please swing arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. Once powered, the second hand gradually returns to the current second indication and the power save function is canceled.

Housing this super-cool movement is a 43.5mm steel case, water resistant up to 50m. Inside is a smoke-grey open-worked dial with signature Accutron green accents, with lumed markers and hands.

This particular example was purchased in August 2021 and presents in TZ ‘Excellent’ condition, with the case showing a rub mark on the left side and other than that just some very small hairlines. Please see images for full condition details.

The Spaceview 2020 is a super-cool reinterpretation of the vintage Accutron, with an amazing movement and one-of-a-kind aesthetics. A very cool Indie for the money.
