Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL Chronograph LE Titanium 168459-3005 – 2014

We’ve always had a huge soft spot for the Mille Miglia series from Chopard here at Watch Vault HQ, and in our opinion the GT XL Chrono in titanium is the one to have.

Released in a limited series of 1000 pieces, it features a 44mm titanium case, housing a deep grey dial with a horizontal gadroon pattern with sub-registers for minutes, hours and running seconds all framed with a light grey outer track. The applied indices are luminous, as are the hands, and perhaps the stand out aesthetic feature for us is the etched 12 and 6 on the underside of the sapphire crystal. Very, very cool.

Powering it is an ETA-based movement, which was Chronometer certified from factory. It comes mounted to a rubber strap with a tyre-tread pattern, and titanium tang buckle. While the case is on the larger size at 44mm x 14.5mm, it wears extremely comfortably due to its titanium construction.

First sold locally in 2014, it presents in in TZ Excellent condition. The case, bezel and buckle show signs of regular use in the form of some light scratches and rub marks, but nothing deep. Strap has never been removed. Please see images for full condition details.

No service history. Currently running at around -15 secs per day at a very strong 300 degrees of amplitude. Chrono starts, stops and resets as it should and date changes over at midnight.
