Our love for the Reverso here at Watch Vault HQ is no secret, and this discontinued Ultra Thin Duo is one of our all time favourites.

Based upon the absolutely fantastic Tribute to 1931, it features a 46.8mm x 27.4mm steel case that’s just 9.3mm thick, which is a full 1mm less than the current Tribute Duoface. This thinness of the case is what makes these earlier Tribute series our pick of the recent Reverso range, and though seemingly not a huge difference in thickness it makes quite an aesthetic difference on the wrist. The real party-piece of the Duo is the dual faces. The main dial is the classic Tribute to 1931 dial in white with black markers and hands, while the second face is a stunning deep-black with Clou de Paris Guilloche pattern making for two very distinct faces and really making it feel like two watches in one.

It’s powered by the venerable JLC Calibre 854 manual wind movement with running small seconds hand and quick set second timezone pusher.

This particular pieces was originally purchased in 2015, and presents in near mint condition. There are some light hairlines and swirlies on some polished portions of the case, and a few tiny scratches on the case back. These are very hard to capture in photos, but feel free to request more images if you'd like to see them in direct light. The black face shows some small dust flecks under the glass predominantly across the top edge and a tiny fleck in the lower right corner. Please see images for condition details.

Comes on the stunning blue Camille Fournet manufactured OEM 'gator strap strap mounted to the lovely JLC steel tang buckle.

Service history is unknown. All functions operating as they should and keeping time at around -6 secs per day.
