Laventure Marine II – Brand New

If you’ve not heard of Laventure before, that would be no surprise. Kicking off in 2017, they’re a micro-brand based out of Neuchâtel that have amassed somewhat of a cult following amongst enthusiasts over the past few years. Once you’ve had a chance to hold them, it’s easy to see why. The design language is supremely cohesive, and they reek of quality and thoughtfulness in a way that puts most far more expensive brands to shame. Look up some reviews and you’ll see why those in the know within the watch world is waxing lyrical about Laventure.

The Marine was the original offering from Laventure, and the genesis for the brand. It featured a 200m water resistant 40.5mm steel case with brushed, polished and sandblasted finishing.

The Marine II builds on the foundation of the Marine I, and adds an extremely special sandwich-dial with an 18k gold top plate, brushed finishing and laser engraved hallmarks. The bottom plate features Super-Luminova to ensure optimum readability, and it is all topped with a Super Dome plexi crystal.

It is powered by a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, and is mounted to Laventures excellent 316l stainless steel bracelet with polished and Saturn finishing. This particular example also comes with the tan leather strap from Laventure.

This particular piece was delivered in December 2021 is brand new and unworn.

Limited to 99 pieces worldwide, these crashed the Laventure website upon release such was the demand for it, and are now highly sought after on the secondary market.
