Longines Heritage Military COSD L2.832.4.73.5 - 2020

Inspired by the watch designed for the British military in WWII, it is a throwback to the Aviation style military pieces of yesteryear and successfully combines vintage charm with modern watchmaking prowess. This is having your cake and eating it too.

Featuring a 40mm steel case, housing a beautiful creamy white dial with Arabic 12-hour numerals on the outer, and an inner scale showing the last half of the 24-hour scale. To top it off there’s blued-steel lumed hands which looks spectacular against the creamy dial. It’s powered by the Longines caliber 12.68N, and is mounted on a Longines green nato.

This particular piece was purchased locally in March 2020 and presents in TZ good condition. The case shows a few small surface marks and scratches, and the grading has been downgraded from ‘Near Mint’ to ‘Good’ on our grading scale due to the presence of a small ding on the upper left lug. Otherwise extremely clean. See images for full condition details.

Discontinued and now highly desired, it’s a fantastic example of a very cool military-inspired piece.
