Oris Vintage Super Diver

The inspiration for the modern Diver 65 from Oris, the Super is a spectacular dive watch that has largely gone unnoticed amongst the wider watch collecting community, but is beginning to gather steam thanks to the popularity of their modern counterpart.

This particular example dates from the 60's and presents in good vintage condition. The deep black dial is in lovely condition with very full plots which have aged to a deep orange, and show some degradation and do not glow under UV light. Hands are a shade lighter, and glow under UV.

Chrome plated case is thick and sharp, and shows wear commensurate with its age, with some flaking in parts. Case back shows a lot of scratches.

Plexi is in good condition, and shows only light marks. Currently mounted to a nato strap which suits it beautifully.

Was serviced by Nuttings Clock and Watch Repairs around 5 years ago. Runs very well, winds smoothly, and appears to be keeping time within +30 per day.

Comes with Watch Vault cleaning cloth and Watch Vault travel pod.
