Rolex Datejust 6917 Two Tone Buckley Dial - 1979

Featuring a classic 26mm steel case with yellow gold bezel, steel and gold Jubilee bracelet, Buckley dial with gorgeous Roman Numeral markers, and is powered by the cal.2030 movement. It makes for a versatile and elegant piece, a perfect ladies vintage daily.

This particular example dates from circa-1979 and presents in excellent vintage condition. The Buckley dial is in spectacular condition with only a few small dots present. Plots are luminova, as are the hands so either re-lumed or replaced at service at some point. Plexiglass is in wonderful condition with only very light marks. Date wheel is original.

Original case has been polished, but retains plenty of life. Numbers clearly visible between the lugs. See images for full condition details.

Bracelet is a 62523-D14 with 468 endlinks, and 17 links. D1 coded, so matches the year of the watch. Shows lots of stretch, as is common with a Jubilee of this era.

Service history is unknown, but looks to have had some attention in the not too distant past. Currently keeping time at around +16 secs per day at 276 degrees of amplitude.

Comes with previous retailers authenticity card, Watch Vault cleaning cloth and Watch Vault travel case. Also has a water resistance result form the previous retailer, but you should always have a vintage piece re-tested before exposing it to water.
