Seiko Prospex ‘Save the Oceans’ SLA057J Limited Edition – 2022

Seiko dive watches are about as cool as they come. Whether that be the Willard, SLA017 or the Turtle, they have a clear design language all of their own, are tough as nails, and rightly coveted by Seiko collectors, and greatly respected by the watch enthusiasts the world over.

What we have here is a limited edition release from 2021, known as the SLA057J. Inspired by the 1968 Hi-Beat Diver, a famous and accomplished Dive watch from Seiko, it features a 42.6mm Zaratsu-polished and brushed Ever-Brilliant steel case with 200m of water resistance. It’s topped with a Uni-Directional ceramic dive bezel, which surrounds a dual-curved sapphire crustal. Underneath this crystal lies a charcoal dial with luminous gilt markers. Powering it is the 8L35 automatic movement, and its mounted to a silicone strap with tang buckle.

This particular piece was purchased locally in January 2022 and presents in TZ Mint condition, with barely any hint of use whatsoever. Please see images for full condition details.
