Unimatic U1-NU

For those unfamiliar with Unimatic, they are an Italian-based micro brand making some of the best value and coolest dive watches in the market for under 3k. Great build quality, understated styling, and very clean design-language have made Unimatic a hit with both new and seasoned watch collectors and their releases usually sell out very quickly indeed.

The U1-NU was released in 2018 in collaboration with street-culture store Nous in Paris, a spin off of the very famous and now sadly no longer with us Collette, and is one of the rarer references from the brand with just 50 pieces being sold. Featuring a 41.5mm DLC-coated steel case that is water resistant to 300 metres, it houses a spectacular matte California dial with maxi markers in C1 Super-LumiNova lume matching the pearl on the diving aluminium bezel insert, off white open second rail and graphic trims. It’s powered by the Automatic calibre Seiko NH35A, and comes with both a V-weave black, weave black nato strap and a fluoroelastomer mil-strap, each sports matching black hardware.

This piece was purchased new from Unimatic in 2018 and presents in TZ near mint condition, with only a few small scratches on the case back form being rested on it. Please see images for full condition details.
