IWC Aquatimer Automatic IW329001 - 2015

We’ve always had a soft spot for Aquatimers here at Watch Vault HQ, and this particular version, known as the IW329001, is one of our favourites.

Released in 2014 as part of the updated Aquatimer range, it features a superbly sculpted 42mm steel case with inner rotating bezel that is water resistant to 300m, highly legible dial with luminescent stick markers, and classic Aquatimer hands with aquamarine used on the minutes hand and seconds tip that really pop against the flat black dial. It’s mounted on a supple IWC black rubber strap with tang buckle utilising an innovative quick change system, and makes for a brilliant, tough and versatile daily wearer.

This particular example was sold locally in 2015 and presents in TZ Good condition. The case and bezel show signs of wear from regular use in the form of some scratches, scuffs and small dings. The caseback shows sub rub marks, and the buckle has some desk diving marks. Please see images for full condition details.

The service history is unknown, but it’s probably a little young for that. It is winding very smoothly, and keeping time at +13 seconds per day at 291 degrees of amplitude.
