IWC Schaffhausen 14k Gold Antique Art Deco - 1926

Absolutely stunning vintage piece here from IWC. Featuring a spectacular engraved 26mm x 26mm (36mm lug-to-lug) case in 14k yellow gold, and houses a brushed silver dial with Breguet numerals, matched with Breguet hands and topped off with a sub-seconds at 6. Powering it is a lovely Cal 76 manual wind.

This particular example dates back to 1926 and presents in lovely condition. The case is very well preserved, with clear engraving present.

The movement was serviced by the previous retailer in the last 12 months, and we tested it on the timegrapher at around -64 secs per day at over 300 degrees of amplitude. But best to consider it perhaps a couple of minutes slow a day.

The dial was lightly refinished as well, and is in very nice condition.The numerals show scratching, as do the hands. the tip of the minute hand is bent downwards.

Comes mounted to a aftermarket leather strap with gold-tone pin buckle.

No box or papers. Includes Watch Vault cleaning cloth and Watch Vault Travel Case.

A super-cool piece that presents amazingly for its age.
