Jaeger & Benzinger Edition 3 Salmon Vintage Movement

A staggering value proposition within the world of Independent Watchmaking, Jaeger & Benzinger specialise in classic aesthetics combined with stunning hand-finishing techniques to create hand-made masterpieces at Tudor money. Crazy.

The piece we have here is known as the Edition 3 Salmon Vintage Movement, and the name pretty much gives the game away. Housed within the beautifully proportioned 38mm steel case lies an in-house crafted sterling silver salmon dial with intricate hand guilloched centre utilising a rose-engine masterfully turned by Jochen Benzinger, brushed hour track with roman numerals, and topped with flame blued Breguet hands. As its name suggests, the movement utilised is a vintage FHF 96 manual-wind, hand engraved and finished once again by Jochen. As we said, this is unheard of levels of finish and attention to details at this price point and quite frankly boggles the mind.

This piece was delivered locally in October 2021 and presents in TZ 'Excellent condition. The case shows some light scratches and marks from wear, but no deeps dings or dents. Please see images for full condition details.

Currently running at around +45 secs per day. Jaeger and Benzinger don't release accuracy figures, and given its vintage movement nature we believe this would be within spec. Remains under manufacturers warranty until October 2023.
