Farer Lander Chronograph

Farer launched in 2015, specialising in a modern take on traditional adventure watches while utilising mid-century British design cues and splashes of colour to really bring them to life.

The piece we have here is known as the Lander Chronograph, and is one of our favourite releases from them thus far. Utilising an intricate and highly detailed 39mm case in steel, it features Farers signature bronze crown for added contrast. Housed within it is a spectacular sea-green dial, with burnt orange accents on the running seconds, chronograph seconds, and chronograph minute hands. The large sub-registers feature a beautiful radial finish, and show running seconds as well as a 30 minute counter. The date window at 6 is integrated perfectly, to be both discreet but legible, and a few other watch brands could learn a thing or two about how to integrate a date window so seamlessly! It's powered by an ETA 2894-2 for easy servicing and reliability. Just a super cool Indie watch.

This particular example was purchased in 2019 and presents in TZ Near Mint condition. The case shows some very light marks from careful use, with a few strap change marks present on the lugs. No nicks, dings or dents are present. Please see images for full condition details.

Winding is a little stiff, but have seen this noted with other Farers. The chronograph hand stutters a little when in operation which is a trait of the 2894-2. Keeping time at about +4 seconds per day, so within COSC.
