Studio Underd0g Watermel0n

Studio Underd0g is the brainchild of Richard Benc, a designer who in the midst of the pandemic asked himself why watches need to be so serious…the result being a range of watches with more than a little playfulness in their design and execution.

The piece we have here is known as the Watermel0n, and is inspired by…well, watermelons. Utilising a 38.5mm steel case, it houses a degrade pinkish red dial with green outer tachy track, and black watermelon pip indices, and topped with a sapphire crystal. Powering it is the Seagull Manual Winding ST-1901 with a silver coloured Swan Neck regulator, and is topped off with 50m of water resistance.
