This is it. The big, bad ROO. Released in 1993 as a means to modernise one of the greatest sports luxury watches of all time, the Offshore instantly carved out a niche of it's own and launched the 'oversized' watch movement. These days 42mm doesn't seem particularly large, but don't be fooled, the ROO packs serious wrist presence.

The Rubberclad model was brought out in 2002 as a means to protect the otherwise scratch-prone bezel on regular Offshores. It features a durable, vulcanised rubber coating on the bezel, crown and pushers which provides protection to scuffs and scraps, while also endowing the Rubbercload with a stunning contrast between the silver sub-dials, black face and silver bezel screws.

This particular example presents in very good condition. There are no dents or deep scratches anywhere on the case. The bezel shows a few fine nicks around it's outer edge - the rubber coating doing it's job. Case shows a few light nicks and light scuffs/scratches as seen in the images. There is no discernible wear to the rubber on the pushers or crown.

Unknown service history, but winds smoothly, dates snaps over at midnight, and running within COSC specs.
