Very nice, original example of a Rolex Day Date 18038 up for grabs.

Case is in excellent vintage condition. Lugs are very thick and even, and the bezel is sharp.

Champagne baton dial in very nice condition with some very light spotting present. All lume plots in place, with degradation seen at the plots at 10, 11, 1 and 2. Hands are original. Minute hand shows a slight crease in it from a heavy handed watchmaker at some point. Light patina on the baton markers and hands.

Original day and date wheel's are in place with patina matching the period, and correct open 6's and 9's.

Comes on a near-new Colareb Firenze strap in blue.

Unknown service history. Winds smoothly. Running at -4 seconds per day.

Comes with Day Date box, no papers.
