Stunning Rolex Submariner 1680 up for grabs.
This gorgeous is example is a 5.3 million serial, indicating a production date around 1977. It is a very original piece, including the MKI matte dial, tritium hands and silver brushed date wheel with open 6's and 9's.
The dial is in amazing condition, with the only blemish of note being a small oil/lubricant mark above the marker at '1'. This would have been from a service. Not really noticeable on the wrist, but noted for transparency. Tritium plots have a lovely, warm patina with only minor signs of any degradation.
The hands are original, and also feature a gorgeous patina. Some light cracking can be seen on the hour hand.
Bezel is original with 'Fat Font' insert in excellent condition.
Case back is original, with an engraving on the back.
Comes on an Italian Colareb Siena Tan leather strap.
Unknown service history. Winds smoothly, date changes sharply at 12. Running around +10 per day.
