Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chronograph 16/8992

We’ve always had a huge soft spot for the Mille Miglia series from Chopard here at Watch Vault HQ, and in our opinion the GMT Chronograph is one of the best in the series.

Featuring a 42mm case in polished steel, it houses a stark silver dial with minutes, hours and running seconds sub-dials to go along with the Chronograph complication. The printing is in a deep black, allowing for maximum legibility, with a dash of red for the 1000 Miglia emblem and tip of the chrono seconds hand adding a pop of colour. The markers are applied and lumed, as are the hands. The watch also features a GMT function, used in conjunction with the polished steel 24 hour bezel, making for a practical daily wearer perfect for the motorsport junkies.

Powering it is an ETA 7754-based movement, which was Chronometer certified from factory and features a quick set date and hacking seconds. It comes mounted to a rubber strap with a tyre-tread pattern, and steel deployant buckle.

First sold locally in 2011, it presents in in TZ Excellent condition. The case, bezel and buckle show signs of regular use in the form of some light scratches and rub marks, but nothing deep. Please see images for full condition details.

No service history that we're aware of. Currently keeping time at about +11 secs per day at high 200's amplitude. Chrono starts, stops and resets as it should and date changes over at midnight.
