If all that is retro is cool again, then perhaps this is perhaps the King of Cool. Originally released in 1976, the original Casquette was a look into the future by GP with its Sci-fi-esque case and bracelet and was actually an innovator in the Quartz area with it setting the benchmark for the now universal Quartz frequency of 32,768 Hz from its in-house GP 350 calibre.

In 2021, GP and Bamford re-imagined the Casquette for Only Watch, and in 2022 this 2.0 version was released based upon the work that went into creating that piece. The 42.4mm x 33.6mm case is made out of Ceramic, with a titanium case back and titanium GP logo, and is affixed to an absolutely stunning black ceramic bracelet with rubber interior and a folding titanium buckle. This all weighs in at a featherweight 107 grams. It's powered by the GP03980-1474 that displays hours, minutes, seconds and the day and date, as well as day of the month, year, a second time zone and a chronograph. All this from a watch that seemingly doesn't even tell the time until a button is pressed. Very cool.

This particular piece was first delivered in January 2023 by Bucherer in the UK and presents in TZ LNIB condition. We can't see any signs of wear at all, and the bracelet remains at full length. Please see images for full condition details.
