Habring² Felix Chrono Mono Pusher Panda

One of the best kept secrets in independent watchmaking, Habring² is the brainchild of husband and wife duo Richard and Maria Habring. They are renowned amongst seasoned enthusiasts for combining complicated watches with simple aesthetics like few else can, and all for very reasonable prices.

This particular piece is the Felix Chrono, and is Habring² doing what they do best. Featuring a svelte 38.5mm steel case, it houses what is commpnly referred to as a 'Panda' dial with it's white background and black sub-dials. Adding a pop of intrigue to this is the red sub-register hands, chrono hand and '12' marker.

As it's name suggests, this is no ordinary chrono, but a mono-pusher. This means that the start, stop and reset of the chrono function is performed with the single pusher above the crown and are far less common than their dual pusher counterparts. Allowing this complication is the architecturally stunning and superbly engineered manual wind in-house A11C-H1 calibre. This calibres basic design was based off the ETA 7750, but such is the level of re-engineering by Habring² that no parts in this movement were made by ETA, and all inherent weaknesses with that movement were banished. This particular piece dates from Feb 2020 and presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows some light scratching and minor scuffs consistent with use in a large rotation, and is considered 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' on our grading scale due to the presence of a couple of extremely small nicks.
