Rolex Milgauss 116400

The Milgauss was originally designed for use in highly magnetic environments such as power plants, medical facilities and labs. Due to this niche position as the scientists choice of anti-magnetic watch, it’s always been the oddball of the Rolex range. Since inception it’s been one of the coolest lines of professional watches produced by the big R, from the 6451 to the 1019, and then onto the 116400, which happens to also feature one of the most amazing seconds hands ever to grace a watch.

Featuring a 40mm Oystersteel case, white dial, sapphire glass, Oyster bracelet, and the Rolex Calibre 3131 automatic movement with magnet shield to protect against magnetism, it's an amazing looking tool watch that is super comfortable on the wrist.

This particular piece dates from 2009 and presents in TZ Good condition. The case is very clean, with only hairlines and light swirls for the most part. Case back shows rub marks, and there are a few small pin dents around the bezel which is the reason for the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading on the scale we use. Please look through the images as they'll give you the clearest picture of the condition.

Bracelet is very clean, with only minor desk diving marks on the links. Clasp and links closest to it show some scratching and scuffs. Includes 11 links, so will fit roughly a 7.6in wrist without the extension in use.

Was serviced in October 2022 and is currently keeping COSC time.
