Sarpaneva x Valtteri Bottas ”Kilpisjärvi”

Here's something you don't see everyday, the absolutely amazing Sarpaneva K0 Valtteri Bottas ”Kilpisjärvi”. This is the latest Sarpaneva K0 release, a case size you don't see from them very often these days, and in my opinion is quite possibly the Coolest Sarp released to date. I would say that though, as I own one myself!

It features the most amazing hand-finished lattice dial, cut into the form of the Aurora Borealis aka the Northern Lights, and then painstakingly hand painted in the Sarpaneva workshop in Tritec lume, with each of the 17 pieces having a unique colouring essentially making each a piece unique. For those of us from Australia, there's also a small Easter Egg in the Southern Cross being visible just below the 11 marker that's also executed in Tritec lume. Super cool.

All of this is housed in the superb K0 case measuring in at 46mm that is matte finished. Don't be afraid of the size, though. The short lugs help this to fit most wrists, and it wears more like a 43/44mm traditional watch. Powering it is the Chronode P.1003 automatic movement with matching matte finishing, 60 hour power reserve and the signature Sarpaneva Moonface winding mass with ceramic ball bearing. This movement is a big step up from the previous Soprod movements, and along with the hand painted dial justifies the new step up in pricing for Sarpanevas pieces.

To top it off its mounted to the awesome Sarpaneva 'gator strap with signature tang buckle, and also includes a Sarpaneva rubber strap allowing you to cover off on all seasons, and test its 200m of water resistance.

This particular example was first delivered in January 2023 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' condition. There's a rub mark on the left side of the case, but that's about it. Please see images for full condition details.
