Tag Heuer Carerra Space X 'First Swiss Watch in Space' CAR2015.FC6321

Released in 2012 in to celebrate 50 years since a Heuer 2915A became the first Swiss watch worn in space, it was made in a run of 2012 pieces and in collaboration with SpaceX, signified by the smoked-sapphire case back with the SpaceX logo and an illustration of the company's Falcon rocket and Dragon spacecraft. SpaceX launched the first commercial spacecraft to supply the International Space Station in 2012 and the astronauts who manned the craft did so while wearing the TAG Heuer Carrera SpaceX.

Utilising a 43mm case in steel, it houses a white dial with Arabic numerals in black, and matching anthracite hands. There's a sunken 30 minute counter at 12, 12 hour counter at 6 with discreet date window. Running seconds is at 9, with the cool rocket and capsule motif within. It's powered by the Cal.1887 automatic movement, and is mounted to a lovely suede racing-style Heuer Chestnut strap which is months old, with double-button deployant.

This particular example dates to 2013 and presents in TZ Good condition. The case and bezel show some scratching consistent with regular use, with some shallow dings on the sides of the case. Tops of the lugs show some nicks from a careless strap change, with some marks present on the underside also. Some small nicks present along the bevel lines. Strap is in excellent condition being so new. Deployant shows desk diving marks.

Service history is unknown. All functions operating as they should, and currently keeping COSC time.
