Unimatic U3-FFF

For those unfamiliar with Unimatic, they are an Italian-based micro brand making some of the best value and coolest dive watches in the market for under 3k. Great build quality, understated styling, and very clean design-language have made Unimatic a hit with both new and seasoned watch collectors and their releases usually sell out very quickly indeed.

The U3 is their chronograph, and this particular version was a limited edition of 200 pieces produced in collaboration with their New Zealand partner FiveFortyFive. It features a beautiful two-register blue dial housed within a 40mm brushed steel case with 300m of water resistance, and is powered by the Seiko VK64 Meca Quartz movement. The caseback is engraved with constellations, reminiscent of the starry skies above New Zealand, and its mounted to a TPU strap in night blue.

Released in 2021 and since sold out, this particular example presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows a few small scuffs and light scratches, and there's a few small dings along the bevel lines taking the grading from 'Excellent' to 'Good' on our grading scale. Crown has the slightest wobble when winding, which we think may actually just be the oversize crown and the smaller stem combination. Please see images for full condition details.
