Christopher Ward C1 Grand Malvern Moon Phase - 2017

We’re a sucker for a well executed moonphase here at WV HQ, and here we have Christopher Ward’s stunning take on it.

Housed in a 40.5mm steel case, the deep blue dial features a large and very beautiful moonphase display. The moon itself is nickel, and is full of detail. It’s powered by an ETA 2836 movement with a JJ04 module which allows a smooth and gradual progression of the moonphase instead of the one-click-per-day that is usually seen.

It’s mounted to a lovely Italian shell cordovan strap with CW steel deployant.

This particular piece was first sold in September 2017 and presents in TZ Very Good condition. The case shows a few very minor hints of use in the form of a few rub marks. Please see images for full condition details.

No service history. Keeping time at about +8 seconds per day at over 330 degrees of amplitude. Date change is a little slow, occurring around 3.

Comes with outer box, inner box, cleaning cloth, warranty booklet dated September 2017, original purchase receipt and welcome letter.
