Released as part of the 60th Anniversary Collection, the SBGP015 is one of our favourite Grand Seiko's to date. Along with being gorgeous to look at with its perfectly proportioned 44GS 40mm x 12.4mm steel case topped with a blue ceramic bezel, it also features on of the most accurate movements you'll find in a wristwatch anywhere - regulated to be accurate to within 10 seconds a year(!). As with all Grand Seiko's, all finishing is of the highest order. The Zaratsu polishing is truly something to behold.
Housed within this case is a spectacular blue dial, with lumibrite filled markers and hands, which when combined with the highly magnetic-resistant case, quick hour adjustment function, and 200m water resistance makes for an extremely versatile, and supremely comfortable watch that would make a perfect travel companion.
This particular example was first purchased in September 2020 and presents in TZ Good condition. The case shows some light scratches and rub marks from sparing use. The rear of the lugs show marks from strap changes, and the presence of a couple of small nicks on the front of the lugs from these strap changes result in a 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading according to our grading scale.
