Linde Werdelin Oktopus Tattoo

One of the coolest pieces ever made by Linde Werdelin, and one of the rarest too.

This is a very special piece, and one unlike any other, in my opinion. It was created in conjunction with the award-winning tattoo artist Henning Jørgensen, and features a CNC machined case milled with a tattoo pattern over all the surfaces bar the bezel and edges of the case. It also features different hands not seen on any other Linde Werdelin, as well as a high end Frederic Piguet 1150 movement. The level of detail is incredible. The depth of the engraving gives it an amazing look on or off the wrist. I also love the hands, and colour of the lume which are both unique to this model.

Technically 82 of these were to be produced, but that did not occur. These are as rare as rare can be.

This particular piece was first sold in 2012 and presents in TZ mint condition. There’s a very light mark on the bezel, and a small scratch on the buckle. Please see images for full condition details.

No service history as far as we’re aware. Winding is ultra smooth. Timekeeping is at around +15 secs per day at 255 degrees of amplitude.
